Crystal therapy – a relaxing treatment for spirit, mind and body

Crystal healing is a complementary therapy which uses crystals to work on the Human Energy Field.  Blocks or breaks in our energy field eventually affect the physical body, causing discomfort and even illness.  We are literally ‘dis-eased’.

Crystal therapy can assist the body to heal itself by clearing blocks in the energy field and by stimulating the body’s own healing energies.

The History of Crystals:

Crystals have been utilised by man for thousands of years.  There were used in ancient Egypt and Babylon and our modern lifestyle depends very much on their use.  Quartz crystal is made of silicon and oxygen and is the source of the ‘silicon chip’, without which we would have no modern watches, televisions or computers.

What will an appointment involve?

The first appointment begins with an opportunity for you to talk about your problems or symptoms and a brief history will be taken.  For the healing itself, outdoor clothing and shoes are removed for comfort and the client relaxes on a couch. 

A pendulum is used to dowse the energy field and to choose crystals.  Small crystals may be placed onto the client or around the body,  and larger crystals used to absorb or direct energy in the outer layers of the energy field.

There may be an essential oil burner in the room, quiet music playing and crystals laid in a ‘grid’ on the floor.  All these things create a relaxing atmosphere and help to raise the level of energy in tshe room.

How long does treatment take?

This depends on the individual, their symptoms and the available energy.  Acute conditions can improve quickly in perhaps two or three sessions.  For chronic conditions results obviously take longer to achieve.

Who can be helped?

Crystal therapy can benefit anyone of any age and has been found to be helpful for many physical and emotional conditions.  It can also assist with personal and spiritual development.

Kim qualified at the ‘Healing Facets’ Crystal Centre in Northampton after a two year course in Crystal Therapy and is a member of the Spiritual Venturers Association (SVA).

The SVA was founded in 1970 by Edmund Harold, a healer and teacher, and is a healing and teaching organisation allied to the Affiliation of Crystal Healing Organisations (ACHO).
